With this product you can copy your original games into a 40-120GB hard drive. If you have a compatible mod chip installed in your PS2, you can also copy games from CD-R and DVD-R.
This provides faster loading times in the games, and minimizes the risk of children tearing expensive discs.
The product only works with PS2 games, and we cannot guarantee that all current or future games are compatible. It is not possible to play online with games started from the hard drive.
You must have a Sony Broadband Adapter to physically connect the hard drive. You can use Sony's original 40GB hard drive (not sold in Europe at the time of writing) or a regular PC hard drive. However, not all hard drives fit / work.
The manufacturer recommends Maxtor 120GB drives.

NOTE - The new PS TWO SCPH-70004 base unit does NOT have space for any hard drive. This product is thus useless on a PS TWO!
