If you have PS TWO with model number SCPH-75004 or SCPH-77004, this fix is NOT needed!
If you are going to use burnt media on your PS TWO, we recommend mounting this circuit board equipped with 1st microcontroller designed to protect the focus and tracking coils against overload.
We only recommend good quality DVD-R media, eg TRAXDATA. Media of inferior quality and DVD-RW increase the risk of laser damage even if this protection is used.
