This is the chip we recommend to our customers. Not much more expensive than the absolute cheapest chips and all the important features that are normally only found in the most expensive chips.

NO switch is required for configuring the chip's functions / selecting bios etc. Everything is controlled with the joypad and a menu on the TV.
Backup BIOS on the chip - there is always the possibility of flashing the chip if you accidentally flash in a non-functioning bios. Select any bios file on your hard disk / DVD-R or easily flash over the network.
Extra features to back up the xbox's EPROM to the chip's memory, set ntsc / pal video mode, select game region and dvd region etc.

Ability to turn off the chip = Originalbios / XBOX Live compatible
